Perhaps they will say that “only want to protect you” but really, they just want to protect themselves from their feelings of failure.

3) Those who have been successful
If someone has tried something and succeeded, they are a valuable asset for you and your advice is priceless. They know what is and what is not important in the industry.
However, we must clarify that there is a difference between someone who has had success in the industry and someone who only has “knowledge” about it.
Just because a person has studied something does not mean you can do well. A hairdresser can study all about hair, that does not mean she can cut hair to customer satisfaction.
