Many new fathers watch their wives pack a diaper bag for outings with the baby. It seems to them that babies require an enormous amount of equipment simply to take a ride to the store for a few minutes. This is in addition to the crib, changing table, baby swing, infant carrier, playpen and other larger equipment that is left at home and the car seat left in the car.
